About us
At Sage Vets our goal is to provide the pets of our community with the absolute best quality medical care they can get, and give their families the peace of mind that they’re in the safest of hands. As a Western Australian and family-run group of clinics, the core of our focus is on human relationships – the true meaning of being a veterinary professional.

We employ approximately 50 veterinarians and paraprofessional staff across 6 locations. Our veterinary group includes two well-equipped extended hours hospital locations, supported by four boutique consulting practices.

About you
We’re after a casual or part-time veterinarian with approximately two years experience to become a part of our growing team.

We are looking for a vet who would like to work casual / part time hours (16 hours a week), specifically on weekends. Our Bull Creek and O’Connor hospital weekend opening hours are from 8am – 6pm Saturday and 9am – 4pm Sunday.

About the role

Every day is different, but the key role you’ll play is to support your local community. You’ll do this by:

  • Performing regular surgeries using our state-of-the-art facilities;
  • Providing diagnoses, preventative care, and treatment services to the best of your abilities;
  • Working closely with clients to create tailored care plans, including follow-up visits, after-care support, and provide enough education for them to ensure a long and happy life for their pet;
  • Keeping and maintaining comprehensive medical records for all clients, using our network database;
  • Being part of a committed and passionate team, contributing your skills and experience to provide the best veterinary care possible.

What we can do for you:
A competitive salary, based on your experience, plus incentive based payments for the right candidate. We believe in acknowledging a job done well, and you’ll have the opportunity to negotiate additional remuneration for outstanding performance.

Our hospital hubs are newly renovated and equipped well with all the up to date equipment. Including digital radiology, ultrasonography, IM3 dental suite, anaesthetic monitoring systems, IV fluid pumps.

A personal development plan with financial support to see you grow your career the way you want to. There will be further education opportunities, veterinary networking opportunities, and the chance to give back to the community we serve.
