We are a small country practice looking to add a new member to our awesome and much appreciated team. Hours are negotiable and there is no out-of-hours on-call or Sundays to be worked. Plus you will enjoy a great deal of autonomy and input.

We are a mixed animal practice with a 90% small, 10% large mix. Our clients are friendly, loyal and appreciative which adds to the level of job satisfaction. We pride ourselves in the gold standard service that we offer our clients, especially when it comes to anesthetics and dental work. We have a state-of-the-art dental machine, in house lab and x-ray facilities and a very strong and talented nurse team.

We are looking for someone who is confident, warm and caring and actually loves being a vet! If you are an experienced applicant, an ability to work independently as sole charge veterinarian is preferable. We want someone who is personable, gets along with our team, has amazing communication skills, is excellent in the consult room and is naturally inclined or else very willing to go the extra mile for our clients and patients. Any particular surgical or diagnostic strengths are welcomed but not required as we are happy to refer if necessary. Having said that, our clients trust us intimately and often want us to “have a go”, so general surgical competence and a can-do attitude is required, obviously recognizing one’s limits well. You do not have to be a mixed veterinarian to join our team. We will also welcome you with open arms if you are a small animal veterinarian with a love for the country, ticking the above boxes.
