Veterinary Customer Service Representative – Lilydale (Outer Melbourne), VIC

This Veterinary Hospital, situated in the beautiful Yarra Valley region of Victoria in outer Melbourne, are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join their current team!

Who will you be working with?

You will be working in an emergency veterinary hospital amongst a team of Vet Nurses, Support Staff and Veterinarians who whilst being professional, are also able to have a laugh and enjoy themselves whilst being at work! We will encourage skill development and professional development opportunities, and as a team will encourage and support you in your daily work.

Who will you be?

  • Someone with customer service and reception/administrative experience, (including data entry), who is reliable and proactive
  • Someone with good prioritization skills, who is punctual, and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Someone who has experience being the first point of call to customers, being able to greet them and make them feel welcome and at ease, and who takes pride in their professional presentation
  • Someone who is able to provide a high level of support to other colleagues including the veterinarians and veterinary nurses
  • Someone who is able to assist with equipment maintenance and cleanliness
  • A Customer service focused candidate, and who is able to acquire product knowledge and able to recommend and provide product knowledge to others
  • A level of empathy and compassion
  • Someone with a great sense of humour, who is optimistic, helpful and friendly
  • Veterinary/animal related customer service experience, or a special interest in the animal care industry
  • High resilience, and the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
