We are looking for a fulltime vet to join our exceptional team (5 vets/5 nurses). Our hospital practices veterinary medicine with a purpose. From local socially directed programmes (eg, Domestic Violence Programme, Pets in the Park etc) to nationally recognised ones (10 years of work in remote indigenous communities), our desire is to “give back”. This attitude pervades the work culture you will be working in. It is a very compassionate and supportive environment – with personal care of our team a focused priority. In fact, our practice ethos is “To make people and pets, the healthiest and happiest they can be”.

We are able to offer and encourage you to master any area of small animal work that motivates you. Many previous vets are now specialists across the country, have their memberships in many varied disciplines or just furthering their knowledge in Distance education courses. You could even have access to a regular media spot if that interested you! We really value, and place a very strong emphasis on, continuing education. Of course we have all the top line equipment (Tonopen, U/S, radioactive Iodine etc)

We are about longevity in the profession for all professional staff. “You get the clients you deserve” – and ours are exceptional! The current position has become available as a long-term vet is moving interstate for compassionate reasons.
