Senior Veterinarian – Sydney

Small Animal General Practice Senior Veterinarian (experienced) – Northern Beaches/Eastern Suburbs, Sydney – NSW –  full-time position

This position involves working at a lovely NEW small animal General Practice Veterinary Hospital in the Northern Beaches of Sydney, as well as the option of additionally working at their clinic in the Eastern Suburbs.

Who will you be working with?

A friendly small team of Vet Nurses and support staff, you have the choice to work 4.5 days (including week days, and every second Saturday morning) or 2.5 days at the Northern Beaches Clinic in a sole charge position for the first 6 months, with a second Vet joining thereafter.  If choosing to work 2.5 days at the Northern Beaches Clinic, you may also work 2 days at the Eastern Suburbs clinic, working with a team of 2-4 Vets.  This Veterinary Practice Group offer a highly supportive team, and exposure to a varied surgical and medical caseload, yielding great experience and exposure.  You will be supported with ongoing CPD, and opportunity to be assisted in obtaining a Membership.

Who will you be?

Qualified Veterinarian with 2 years’ plus experience, including experience in training and mentoring junior staff

Someone who provides great customer service and communication with both clients and staff members

Someone with a sense of humour that can laugh at the lighter things in life

A drive to provide a quality vet care experience

A need to constantly improve yourself and our business by bringing new skills to our practice with ongoing supported training and professional development

The ability to both work independently when required, and to collaborate with colleagues and support staff when needed as a valued team member

What can we give you?

Above award competitive remuneration (commensurate with experience) – up to 120k per annum plus super

A 4 day working week, with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings initially, with this decreasing to 1 in 3 or 4 after the first 6 months

The option of working at one clinic (Northern Beaches), or a combination of both clinics (Northern Beaches and Eastern Suburbs)
