MENAI, SUTHERLAND SHIRE – FULL OR PART TIME SMALL ANIMAL 

Full Time or Part Time Veterinarian

Located in the beautiful Sutherland Shire, seeking a dedicated veterinarian to work full time or part time. Our practice is located only 20 minutes away from the picturesque beaches and numerous hiking trails at the Royal National Park.

The philosophy of our practice is to provide the best possible service to our longstanding and loyal clientele and their pets, with cutting edge medicine and surgery. The expertise and experience of our current staff mean that we can work up our cases to the highest standard. Our ultrasounds and echocardiograms are done in house, as well as extensive orthopaedic work, including all fracture repairs and tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO) for cruciate ligament injury.

Our practice is well equipped, with in-house Heska laboratory (Element HT5 Haematology, Element DC Biochemistry), digital radiology, ultrasound, iM3 CR7 dental digital radiography unit, iM3 dental machine, doppler, apalert, pulse oximetry, Bair hugger, extensive orthopaedic equipment, VisionVPM practice management software and much more.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • At least 1 year experience in small animal medicine, although we are happy to support and encourage applications from a confident new graduate
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • An ability to blend in and work well in a team
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm to provide the highest quality of medicine and surgery to our clients, in line with our practice philosophy

The position is a full time or part time role including every second weekend off. NO AFTER HOURS, NO SUNDAYS, AND NO PUBLIC HOLIDAYS! Work life balance is just as important to us, as it is for you.

Salary will commensurate with experience, and will be above award.
