If you are looking for a challenging and exciting work environment with an interesting case load, this may be the role for you. We are offering an amazing opportunity for a passionate and driven Veterinarian that is looking to join a focused team of motivated and experienced vets, whilst enjoying all that the Gold Coast has to offer, with some of Australia’s most breathtaking beaches. This is the perfect opportunity for those wanting to travel Australia on a 1 year working holiday visa but with the reassurance of employment in a great clinic. Our roster covers evening, nights, weekends and days and is structured to provide plenty of time away from work to enjoy the sunshine (and it really is amazing sunshine!) and sand.

At our clinic we have a purpose built 24hr emergency hospital with everything you will need to practice at your best and provide outstanding clinical care, including multi-parameter patient monitors, in-house laboratory including PT/APTT and blood gas analysis, ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiography, blood products and mechanical ventilation.

What we offer you:

  • A rewarding role as an ECC veterinarian within an experienced and dedicated team
  • Structured induction and module-based training
  • 5 weeks paid annual leave (pro rata)
  • Guaranteed work/life balance
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • The opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate

  • Dedicated to high standards of care and personal development
  • Accountable and proactive attitude with effective time management
  • Compassionate Vet with a strong patient focus
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience and familiarity with managing emergency and critical care cases including emergency surgeries (GDV, pyometra, ex-lap etc.)
